Questions
Why Choose Llaami?
Llaami is built for businesses with 30 or more staff, or 3 or more locations.
It works best where you have frontline teams who need consistent product knowledge and process training: retail chains, restaurant and hospitality groups, sales teams, and factories. If you are training the same things over and over, across shifts, across branches, for every new hire, that is the problem Llaami was built for.
It depends on your size. If you have fewer than 10 staff, use the free plan and see whether it helps.
But Llaami is designed for teams of 30 or more, where inconsistent training across people and locations is costing you real money. Below that, the problem usually is not painful enough to justify putting a system in place, and we would rather tell you that now.
Anywhere staff need to know things in front of customers.
In practice that means:
- Retail - product knowledge across a growing range, consistent standards across branches, and new staff who need to be useful on the floor quickly.
- Hospitality - menus, wine lists, service standards and seasonal changes.
- Sales teams - product detail and objection handling for reps who are rarely at a desk.
- Factories and operations - SOPs, process steps and procedure compliance across shifts.
No. Llaami is not an accredited training provider.
We do not issue NQF-aligned qualifications, and using Llaami does not earn B-BBEE skills development points.
Llaami is a training platform. It turns your own SOPs, product guides and manuals into courses your staff complete on their phones, so your team actually knows your business. If what you need is accredited learnerships or a skills development spend that counts towards your scorecard, you need a SETA-accredited provider, not Llaami.
Pricing
- Free - your first course and up to 10 staff. No card required.
- R99 per employee per month - for accounts under 100 staff.
- Custom - 100+ staff, or multi-region rollouts.
Every new customer starts with a 30-day pilot, with onboarding included at no cost, so you run it with real staff before you commit to anything.
Two ways to try it.
The free plan does not expire: one course, up to 10 staff, no card required. Build something today and see it working.
The 30-day pilot is for larger teams. Onboarding is included at no cost, and your staff use Llaami properly for a full month.
We handle onboarding for you at no cost. We take your existing documents, build the first courses, and get your team set up.
You then run Llaami with real staff for a full month. The point is to see it working on your own products and procedures, with your own people, before you commit to anything.
You start with a 30-day pilot, and we handle onboarding for you at no cost.
That gives you a full month of real staff using Llaami on your real courses, long enough to put new hires through it and see whether anything actually changed on the floor. If it is not working for your team, you walk away.
How it Works?
No. That is the whole point.
You upload documents you already have, such as PDFs, PowerPoints, Word docs, SOPs, product brochures and menus, and the AI converts them into question-and-answer courses automatically. You review the result before it goes live. Even if you don't have documents, you can prompt the system to create a course for you, for example: create a beginners course for basics on white wines of South Africa. No slide-making, no rewriting, no content team.
Upload a document and you have a reviewable course in minutes.
Once a manager approves it, it goes live across mobile and desktop straight away. There is no implementation project, no onboarding fee and no professional services engagement.
No. Llaami runs in the browser on any phone, tablet or desktop.
Staff log in and start: no app store, no installs, no IT rollout. This matters more than it sounds for frontline teams, where staff turn over regularly and everyone has a different phone.
Yes. Managers see completion rates, individual and group scores, and a live leaderboard.
Question-level analytics show you exactly where the gaps are, so you can tell that a whole branch has misunderstood one product, rather than guessing. Reports export for sharing with stakeholders.
Upload the new document and Llaami updates the course. Everyone sees the current version immediately.
For businesses with seasonal ranges, changing menus or frequent policy updates, this is usually the difference between training that stays accurate and training that quietly goes out of date.
Yes. Regional teams can train in the language they actually work in.
Llaami can be prompted to change certain questions, sections or the whole course into any language.
Comparisons & Technical
A traditional LMS gives you a library of generic courses, plus a system to host content you build yourself. Llaami does the opposite: it takes the knowledge that is specific to your business, your products, your procedures, your standards, and turns it into training automatically.
A generic course cannot teach your staff your product range. And Llaami is built mobile-first for deskless teams, rather than for people sitting at a desk.
Yes, on the Custom plan.
API access allows integration with HR, LMS and CRM systems, so new hires are enrolled automatically as part of your existing onboarding process instead of being added by hand.
